Workshop BIOMETALS 2024 will take place at the Scientific and Production Center "Armbiotechnology" of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Yerevan State University, and Institute of Geology Armenia on March 2025.

The aim of the BIOMETALS 2025 Workshop is to present the latest research results in the field of Biohydrometallurgy, Ecology and Geology considering current practical requirements and potential applications of scientific discoveries for fostering collaboration between academics, young researchers, and scientists.
BIOMETALS 2025 Workshop encompasses the following scientific disciplines: Biohydrometallurgy; Microbial Ecology; Biomining and Bioprocessing; Biodegradation and Bioremediation; Waste Management; Recycling.
BIOMETALS 2025 Workshop aims to identify the state and direction of the development of scientific relations in the field of biohydrometallurgy as well as the difficulties and issues encountered in their implementation. Participants will also share ideas and strengthen their cooperation.

This meeting is selected by the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) to offer grants for event participation for Early Career Scientists*.
Eligibility To apply for this grant, you would need to meet the following requirements:
• be a member of a FEMS Member Society* or be recommended by such a member
• be an Early Career Scientist**
• be an Active Microbiologist
• be the presenting author at the meeting (oral or poster)
*Find out if your society is a FEMS Member at https://fems-microbiology.org/member-societies/ **These are active microbiologists who obtained the highest academic degree - Bachelor, Master or PhD - less than five years prior to the application deadline date, or are a Master or PhD student.
